New to the turbo scene

Whats up guys, just got a low mile 4.8 from a 2010 3500 express van. I'm putting it in my 89 foxbody stang and want to put a turbo on it. Question is what turbo do I go with? I'm backing the the motor with a th350 trans and will have a convertor done after i get the motor set up how I want it. Looking to go into the 10s or faster on pump gas.

Borg Warner s400-75 1.10 83mm. That turbo should meet your goals very easly. There about $650 from forced inductions.

What kind of power can these 4.8s hold up too?

I've pushed them to 650 rwhp. With a 80mm turbo. And there a lot of others that have done the same or more.

with correct tune, you should be able to run 10s for a very long time with how light a Fox body is. 525 to 560WHP will get you there on a very conservative tune.
