best locking header bolts? What type?

Just starting to fab the turbo headers for my car and want to select the bolts I use first to make sure i'll have proper clearance.

What kind of style is everyone using? I was looking at the bolts with the allen wrench stud in the middle but I have never used them

thoughts?

anything better?

Cant say Ive ever had an issue with them coming out.

Although for handiness, I made up some studs from stainless bolts and used nuts on my car.

Always used the stock bolts with everything, never had an issue.

Had great luck withthe ARP Stainless Stud Kit. Stage 8 Botls work great as well but require some work to set up, ie trimming the tabs.

locking header bolts are annoying as all hell if you work on your car a lot. Stock bolts are fine but the studs are nice too.

I have been using Stage 8 locking header bolts for years. They can be a pain putting on or taking off but once they are on you can forget about them. They also have a hex allen inset in the head so you can start them with an allen wrench.

My second choice would be studs.
