ATI Super Damper for High HP turbo ls1's??
which ATI super dampers are you turbo guys running? I called ATI and they recommended the #917242 for my Iron 347 w/AC, the regular size non UD balancer...
I looked it up on their website and its a steel hub with steel outer shell, theres another one with an aluminum outter shell...
I told him the HP range Ill be in (700-900) and asked about the diffrent durometer of rubber and he didnt go into detail and just gave me the part #917242
can someone else chime in on which they run, and what constitutes a custom made damper that I hear about for High HP builds?
thanks

Hmm, I have been researching a lot. Seems the steel hubs are what you want for street use, but I called again and another person recommended the steel/steel or steel/aluminum shell either or... There's a 3 lb difference, he said I won't notice a difference...
The heavier damper will help save my stock crank at the power ill be at, I ordered the steel/ steel version.
