Fastenal, Grainger, MSC, . Careful with the cheap harbor freight ones or the local hardware stores chinese knock offs, you'll tap 2 holes and they will be dull.

Incorrect. For what it's worth my $9 NPT 6 piece tap and die set from HF (Even came with a nice wooden storage box) has tapped approx 100 different pans/water pumps and turbo piping with no failures whatsoever.

Well that sums up that debate whether or not the cheap ones suck. They may be worse if your using them in steel but aluminum is so soft I don't see it dulling a metal tap too quickly.

FYI: My local Napa stocks them(I have bought 2)
The Balkamp manf# p# is "T-304" 1/2" - 14 NPT (on box)
On website it is "BK t304" Napa online price is $17.34
The hard part for me was getting the proper drill size which is 45/64"

Good Luck

I have the 45/64 drill bit but a 23/32" will work too.

For anybody else looking, www.mcmaster.com has anything you need like that and in different quality/price levels.
