If you go to the web site and add it to your cart the price will drops $2,250.00 off the price

last time i checked no one said it was cheap to go fast when looking at other kits you can see that they take the easy way out by using dryer duct tubes to get the air to the turbos
we made this whole kit with hard pipes so yes that will cost more money to get the better parts so you wont have to replace them latter in time

Then why would you have it priced like that then?

Thats like going to the grocery store and buying everthing you need and then finding out the real price when getting to the register.

You must of saw this thread and just took off 2250 about 5 minutes ago then.

You keep saying "we", You didn't make the kit.

Only one kit came like you describe which was APS so don't get it twisted.

If you have looked at the rest of the forced induction section there are a few guys who have put the words "cheap" and "fast" together a few times. Would I go that route? Probably not. I wouldn't buy this kit either.

11,000 is the retail price but if you call in the price will go down or if you add to cart you will get 20% off the kit

I don't care if he is granitelli's daddy. They didn't build the kit. Turbo Technology inc. built the kit.

This is like you building a kit and about a year later me and you become friends and I sell your kit as mine, like I built it.

Ok and the icon kit too, happy? kapeesh?

I didn't mean to stir up **** with my post. I was just surprised at how many times I hear that turbo setups are so much cheaper than a procharger setup.

I don't care about the price and I'm not here to bash but I don't get that. If the price advertised will drop no matter how you order it, then why advertise at that price? You would get more initial interest in the kit if you just put the true price out there. Seems weird.

this, now if you had to enter "ls1tech" as a coupon code to drop it 2k then that would kinda make more sense of why you guys did that ...

but that extra 2k is the diff between deal or no deal, 9k looks a hell of alot better than 11k+

turbo Joe at straightline performance made a top notch twin kit for JT76, All stainless steel, top notch TIG welding, built to order, etc etc, and u can get one for almost half the price of this. just saying. 8800 is still too much. a competitive price would be like $7500ish imo.

I cant believe all of the whiners in here. Don't like the price don't buy it. Stick to the 3k dollar car junk yard dog setup.

Kit looks great and its from a time-tested company thats been around since these cars were new. Most every other "kit" has failed to deliver, went belly up, are dick rolled half this forums wallet/bank accounts.

Tough crowd

It is a nice looking kit but he had to relocate half the engine compartment, relocate the radiator, "rig" up some half *** upper radiator elbow, gonna have to make custom a/c lines, he posted about over heating already, etc., etc. It's a race car kit.

Obviously Granitelli didn't like the price either that's why they lowered it after this thread was made.

You don't find it odd that they came on here to tell you that they drop the price if you put it in the cart?

Nobody said anything about a 3k dollar junkyard setup but 9 or 11 grand is still too much for a stock manifold air to air kit. I just showed where all the parts cost 4 grand that they didn't manufacture and I gave them 2 grand for what they did have to fabricate.

All in all, I can get an air to water street kit with no scavenge pump for less

The last thing I remember about the install was something like the charge pipe was requiring removal of the hood latch or something like that. Don't quote me on that but its was along the lines of that.

This kit was not debuted in this thread... There were other threads, and it was in fact stated in prior threads that the actual price was lower.

They didnt lower the price just because you have sand in your Vag. and started throwing a fit. Just because youre broke doesnt mean the rest of the world is.

Not trying to be a dick, but you sure are in this thread

Yeah because that makes it a "race car kit." I agree, the modular kit is nice but you're the biggest nutswinger I've ever seen.

LOL. Your right it doesn't make it a race car kit. But without a doubt it makes it a terrible pain in the a$$ to make your car accept that kit. And the guy with that kit has a car that is way above average in terms of condition. Super clean car to be having to do so much to make it work.
