well the 317s muck it up for you

why not use the stock heads, 317s needlessly lower the compression imo

otherwise you could use stock ls1 steel gaskets that are 34 for the pair shipped off summit.

with the larger bore size head i think you will need to run the ls9 or 6.0 head truck gasket. wich are both double the price

stock 6.0 MLS gaskets...but the compression ratio is already pretty low with stock heads, no reason to run 317's

Ls9 head gaskets hands down. There's no stock or after market gaskets that compare in my opinion

don't forget that the 317's have 2.0 intake valves, where the stockers are 1.89. exhaust valves are the same though

If its a flat top piston 5.3 and stock 243/799 heads are 9.98cr 317's would bring it down nicely. But if its not then cr is gonna be pretty low

Yup 5.3 with 6.0 heads can bring your compression very low. What pistons are you using?

I've had very good luck with the stock 6.0 mls gaskets.
