If the turbo was too small you'd see boost fading away not spiking.

If you were running out of fuel your tuner should have easily spotted this as he would see it leaning out, and changing the tables to add fuel would not add more fuel.

I didnt think people were still doing turbo builds on stock springs...

You trying to shortcut and skip simple things like this just wasted twice as much money and time...

Again, your tuner sounds like he's trying to make money off you, this is a pretty obvious fix.

Like someone said earlier, just get LS6 valve springs and swap them in. While you are at it you should add a second fuel pump. Then take it back to the tuner and show him that turbo isn't too small....

valve springs for sure. mine was spinning to about 5500 and wouldn't make over 5 psi on stock springs. And go ahead and add in another 255 or a single larger one. like a 340 or a 400. good numbers so far considering though

Yea yea I know stock springs.... I was trying to get the car running prior to my deployment this summer and figured they could handle it for now. I was wrong.
As far as fuel pump, he said it was starting to get a bit richer up top, so for now I'm not worried about more pump at the power levels I'll be hitting.
And no, he's not trying to rip me off, he even offered to throw the car back on the dyno after I sort it out to finish the tune.... free of charge.
Thanks for the help guys.

Throw some valve springs at it and let her eat. Another fuel pump is in your NEAR feature. A single 255 is only good to around 550RWHP.
