Why would they not? Did you assume I didn't see that he was running a T56? Too many people these days undersize the turbine wheel on V8 engines, I'm just not one of them.

I have an e85 pump close to me. Would it be worth it to convert to it?

Larger injectors and fuel pumps than you would need for gasoline with the same power output in mind.

Victor Jr. intake
ARP head studs

As far as injectors I'd go ahead and do 96lb. injectors.

If you did a 5.3 I would change the turbo to a PT7675 as Joe mentioned OR do a BWS475 83mm turbine and 1.10 ar housing and a 226/237 .605"/.610" 114+5 camshaft.

Would you run stock LQ4 heads, crank, rods, pistons ?

That would work fine for 600-700rwhp reliably.

I'd like to get closer to 700rwhp. Which bottom end is the strongest? I was thinking 04+ 5.3 and 6.0 or something had better rods?

Look at my thread. Stock pump below 4lbs of boost and Bosch 044 in boost, with SD 80lb injectors. and get the parts from V-seriesTech, Jamie is the man at RPS.

Thanks Nick. I'll study your thread some more. I'm leaning towards 5.3 I think. Can't wait to see your numbers.

5.3L are pretty easy to come by, I basically created a L33 with the parts I chose on mine without the cost.
