Question Siliconeintakes V Bands & Clamps??

Couldn't find anything through searching. I'm curious if anyone here has used V bands and their clamps from siliconeintakes.com?? And what you thought of them? Also see they sell gaskets to seal them.

I wanted to get some for my headers but not break the piggy bank, on a NA car.

silconeintakes.com couplers and t-bolt clamps are great
Never purchased any v-bands from them but everything else has been good quality.

you get what you pay for. RPS has great products and i use there vbands on about half of the stuff i build, but nothing comes close to the quality of a clampco vband ring set or vibrant!!!

you can really tell by how good they weld. Vibrant FTW!!!

I have couplers and t-bolts from them also, they seem to be pretty nice.

As for RPS, thanks for the suggestions. I know about their v bands, but I'm not looking to spend nearly $80 on SS 3.5" vbands.

This is just for my headers, not a turbo/SC piping. I just want to be able to easily remove my exhaust if/when needed.

My last v band (2 inch stainless) was less then 20 dollars and was awesome quality and even had the locating ring.

I've have ordered V-bands from both rps n silicon, they are both decent products. I just used silcons mild steel Vbands on the DP Back part of my exuast and they welded up nicely. Just make sure you hit the surface with a wiz wheel to take the aluminized coating off first or it wont weld up nice. I don't have a TIG welder so that's why I use mild steel.

Sounds good, did you use their Vband seals they sell?

No I used the perma-gasket it's works just as good IMO. Plus its not hard to scrap off and put more on next time you have the exhaust off the car

I just bought vband clamps from silicone intakes. They are pretty heavy duty for the amount of money they cost. I was very pleased.
