Jegs if you have the racer discount or Dennis at Moore Racecraft or Joe at Hyperaktive.

Are you looking at the Hp or Dominator?

leave everything stock including the cam, install pac1218 140 dollar valve springs and lay down 500 and get 20+mpg highway.

Where's the fun in that? This is my weekend car, I don't care if it gets 2 gallons to the mile. It's my first v8 anything, and want a little chop in idle. I'll drive my 32mpg cobalt ss if I'm worried about mileage.

As far as hp, screw 500hp, I got turbo hayabusas's that make more then that on 1.3 liter engines. The 5.3s can handle 800hp reliably on e85, as you know. I don't give a **** if I leave the crank at the line, I'll get another $350 long block and do it all again.

I have 243 heads and TSP boost cam FMIC truck manifold. New cam bearings and ARP rod bolts
12lbs with 91 octane making 524/494

with my ls1 I had an f13cam, same heads, made 530/495 with 6#s
