Help with procharger C.R. please
So, I bought a used 370 short block built by LME. I just brought it to a trusted machine shop to have it cheched out before I have everything installed. From what ive read, a 9.5 C.R. is desirable for a procharger build. The guy at the machine shop says its too high and should be around 8.5-9.0 He also told me I don't need total seal rings. moly is good.
I don't know what to do..... I don't want to change the pistons if I don't have to. Car is my DD on 93 oct.
Specs: 370
3.622 crank, 4.030 bore, weisco -2cc flat top pistons, callies rods.
Heads im using are 317's 73cc. I calculated 9.5 CR. for what I have.
