Default t56 wide or close ratio for boost?

Im in the market for a new magnum t56. If you had to choose wide or close ratio, which would it be? I kinda have an idea of what I should get but I would like some opinions before I drop $3000.

2.66 1.78 1.30 1.00 .80 .63 close
&
2.97 2.10 1.46 1.00 .74 .50 wide
Its going in a 2800lb nova with a boosted 4.8, 3.55 rear gear ratio.

Close ratio is gonna do better for keeping your R's up when you shift, which, in turn, is gonna keep you in boost moreso than the wider ratio.

I'd hardly call either wide or close.

Although normally the 0.74 and 0.5 5 and 6 gearset go with the taller 2.66 first gear.

The 2.66 gear ratio version has the .80 5th gear which keeps you nicely in the powerband for ludicrous speed

The T56 Magnum shifts awesome. I love mine.

Cool, thanks for the input. I think i'm leaning toward the 2.66 version(close). I was thinking the 1.30 3rd gear would be better for boost anyways.
