Newb with FI on 347 Questions...
I am looking at an 05 CTS-V with a D1SC on a stock bottom end LS6. Car is running 7lbs of boost right now, the cam specs are 231/235 .617/.621 115 4 and is running stock heads with PRC .650" dual valve springs. Car has a FAST 102 intake and Nick Williams 102 TB along with LSXR fuel rails, siemens 60# injectors and a Kenne Belle Boost-a-pump.
I am looking at different options for 'turning up the wick' so to speak, the car dyno'd at 562/461 with this set-up. I am gathering that at a bare minimum more boost will necessitate better rod bolts, forged rods and pistons. With this mod only, what can I shoot for boost and power wise? Would the stock heads become the next major limitation? Is this fuel system capable of 10-14psi or 600-650+whp/500-550wtq? Which for now is probably my goal unless costs get overly prohibitive. Im sure I have more questions, but this is a start lol
