Default Max boost/power, built motor

Hello,
I have 98 T/A. Motor has forged probe pistons, eagle rods, stock crank, arp hardware, cartek 243 heads, gm mls head gasket. Compression ratio is close to stock. I'm not sure what piston rings were used ( I didn't build the motor originally).

I'm thinking about going boost with a front mount turbo. Something around a t76. What boost/power levels could I safely get out if that motor

Also, cam is a 227/232 6.1x/5.9x, 110+1. how would that cam do with a front mount?

Its really gonna depend on the fuel you wanna use. The issues I see with real big power are the 243s and the cam will bleed off boost up top at a certain point. Also head studs? and any way to find out what top ring it has?

I would like to stick with 93 oct. I don't have e85 available around me. The head bolts are stock to my knowledge, but it does have arp rod bolts and main studs. I'm not looking for crazy power, but I would like to be able to get around 600 rwhp safely. If I can't do that, then I'll just spray it with 100shot and call it day.

Not really any way to verify rings without pulling the motor apart. And I would perfer not to for obvious reasons.

Anyone else have any advice to contribute. Assuming the rings are tight and not "boost rings", what would be a safe hp level?

Fwiw my buddy just made 644rwhp with a d1 procharger, custom blower cam, headers and a Shitty flow master catback. Stock bottom end, stock 853 heads, ls1 intake. 12 psi. 93 no meth.

Anyone have any input? What is a safe power level without knowing about the rings?

600-700 should fine. youve got stuff that should be better than stock and stock stuff holds fine those levels. Its all about the tune anyway
