Turbo on Top of Engine?
Turbo on Top of Engine? Has anyone thought or tried putting a turbo on top of the engine near the windshield. What I was thinking is if the hood was high enough it may fit, but I doubt there would still be enough room. The kind of hood I think would still look good is the one on this page. It is pictured at the bottom on a SOM car with black SS scoop.

The only place I can think of above the motor is where the battery is, obviously moving it to the rear. It can fit other places, but it's just so damn cramped it will take serious modifications.
00PewterSS i have the 3" SS cowl hood on my 2002 SS there wouldnt be enough room to mount a turbo there but it still looks SWEET as hell i get complimented on it everyday i take it out. Even guys that have Vipers and Z06's and other top notch cars. Sometimes they follow me to tell me that my car looks sweet. havent had any time to get pics will try to though. As for buying from VFN again...well i am not going to go there on that topic again. U need anymore info just PM me.
