LY6 return fuel rails for boost. Boosting an LY6 with a single HX52. Not shooting for the moon but would like 600 or so HP. Plan on a Walbro 460lph in-tank. I have not tuned a LSX and my experience is limited to tuning turbo cars that are OE turbo with a adjustable FPR and a return from the rails fuel system.
So not sure if I can or should even think about retaining the OE return-less stuff? In a forced induction application I think the OE return-less is going to complicate tuning (HP tuner on the OE ECU E38)? If this is the case and I need to go with a return from the rail system, are there any OE LS rails that return? I seem to recall reading that there are, if so, what should I be looking for (year, engine, ect...)? Or just do aftermarket rails and adjustable FPR and done?
