Yes they may have a T6 flange, but the gasses from a single bank still have to squeeze through a pipe of say 2" diameter.
And gas velocities in these pipes do have an impact on spool, as does actual turbine and turbine housing selection
Hence the query. What sort of CSA does say a 0.82 in either T3 or T4 with a 66mm turbine wheel actually have ?

CSA???
idk
all i know is on a 427 with these turbo housings and 6766 turbos we were dead at just over 1300 wheel through a m6 and 9" rear. we could not spin the turbos any faster... even used shop air pressure to keep the gates shut and that was it...... no more. dead in the water.

Cross sectional area.
That was with the smaller T3 housings ?
Interesting thread here re 6766's, they seem to be producing stout numbers.

On the flip side, there's a guy on the 2010Camaro forum who had a pair on his Vette and they wouldnt withstand mile runs at lower power outputs than some are claiming, he needed to opt for much larger units.

Does suck about this housings. Garrett you can get a bigger Tial housing. Which PTE would do the design....
Well we got everything in. Tomorrow running lines to wastegates and mounting intercooler. Hoping to have it on the dyno tomorrow night or Friday the latest.

You two trolls... Don't start your bs talking over here too....
Rabbit I have the time the $$ and a shop to back me I'm not too concerned with getting there. The CTS-V event that was setup for sat was canceled.
So what does that mean? I won't be the one that pilots the car as I have knee surgery Tuesday to repair to my torn ACL & Lateral Meniscus tear. But it will be done by a very experienced driver.

Waiting on fuel rails the ones we were told would fit but I had a feeling they were machined the oring depth to shall and they leaked during the prime up .....next day aired some new ones. Start up tomorrow Apparently aeromotive are the only one that offers aftermarket rails for a stock ls7 intake..

It's up and going. Fighting an issue with it not wanting to read the crank sensor there for no rpm on the cluster.
