How far can you punch out an iron 5.3?

I ran one 3.905 with 23 psi

4" is too big. 3.905 will get you to 347 cubic inches with the stock stroke. I wouldn't bore one any further than that without sonic checking. And even then you'd have to get some custom pistons made.

You can usually find good 6.0 blocks for less than $500 if you look around.

If its iron just bore it to 3.905". If its for your car, you've got more than enough turbo to make up for it being a 347
