Default Need advice..

Bud of mine has a Procharger P1SC for an LT1, and i wanted to find out if I could possibly buy some parts to make it fit an LS1? The procharger was bought new in March of 03, used for 6 months was oiled and taken care of, but he only wants 1,500 bucks for it. He sold his other car so he took the procharger off. It comes with all the brackets and still in basicaly new condition for 1,500 bucks. Should I buy it?

You can fabricate anything you want. If it is the same head unit as the LS1 kit than you can use it. But you will have to obviously purchase the right brackets as such to route the belt correctly for the LS1.

The problem is the LT1 and LS1 Head units are oppisite. You mount that thing on your car the pullies will be facing the wrong way. LS1 systems are backwards./ Perhaps ATI could change it for you.. Again you could fabricate anything yes, but it's a lot of work.

Good Luck.

Yea, that would a be a pain in the ***. You might save some money by doing it that away but piping and alot of stuff changes.

I was going to buy my friends Vortech S-Trim off him and put it on but the custom braket alone cost 1500.

No.

It's not that great of a deal, if you could get it for $500-800 you would have more room to spend money on the other parts you need.

Honestly if folks have straight discharge Vortech stuff they can get for cheap, that's the ticket. You can get brackets for like $500-1000, add in a blower, and then do the ducting and maybe have a custom kit for less than $2000. It all comes down to what you pay for the blower.
