All forged internals is what I had planned on, but adding up all the bling it will cost me, I'll probably hone the cylinders walls, re-ring the pistons with an aftermarket rings, and hope that I dont have any more problems. Thats the cheapest way I could get out, and still have plenty of money for mods.

I do want to go with forged Pistons and If i have the money it will be done. How much hp can the stock bottom end take? I hate to build up the motor and it be strong in some aspects but weak in others.

Forged internal shortblocks are $2800, can handle 14# boost or more and are claimed to hold up to 800hp. I ordered one 2 weeks ago from APE, cant wait to get mine, dont forget to think ahead when building a car. I am guilty of that myself and could have saved lots of money. I remember when i used to dream of a H/C car with 400hp and now here I am with a T-76 setup and a shakey home life!!!!
