You might as well put some forged pistons in there while you have it open! It will help you out later on down the road!

I do want to go with forged Pistons and If i have the money it will be done. How much hp can the stock bottom end take? I hate to build up the motor and it be strong in some aspects but weak in others.

It depends on how you wanna make your power really. There are several N20 guys making big numbers with stock bottom ends. As far as FI goes I would say that 550 hp is about the limit of the stock bottom end. It all depends on what supporting mods you have done too. There are people making more with stock bottom ends out there too. I mean heck look at the QMP Formula 600-700 hp on a stock bottom end LS1!

Forged internal shortblocks are $2800, can handle 14# boost or more and are claimed to hold up to 800hp. I ordered one 2 weeks ago from APE, cant wait to get mine, dont forget to think ahead when building a car. I am guilty of that myself and could have saved lots of money. I remember when i used to dream of a H/C car with 400hp and now here I am with a T-76 setup and a shakey home life!!!!
