my plan is to run 15-20psi and atleast 800rw
what do you all think? questions/comments/suggestions?

Some guys might suggest ID1000s, but the ones I mention above are a good alternative considering the price difference.

Run the 402 at 10-1 compression, or close. .82 a/r is what I would use. I would prefer a stock LS3/LS7/LS6 intake manifold, depending on what heads you decide to go with.
Assuming everything is built correctly,mid to high 220's cam and it will be at 700+rwhp easy on 10psi. 800+rwhp at 13psi and above that I would run race fuel and it will be 1k+.
Vertical flow intercooler like you plan to run has the least amount of pressure drop but doesn't cool as well as horizontal flow. If it was my car I would build/get a nice horizontal flow with a big garrett/precision/bell core.
I agree with the FIC 1000's. I would run twin intanks just because I don't like the noise of an external pump. (I wouldn't run a fender exit exhaust either). Just my preference.
