Yes i got it is will shoot you a PM shortly!
True on the variety of turbos but the frames start growing after the 6767's which is not to big of deal but the piping grows also I still have the 7075's sitting in the back of my head!

Should I go with the larger .96 housing with the 6767's ?
To maximize pump gas power, yes I would run .96's. They'd be in good boost by 3800-4000 and really kickin above that. I'd throw in a 4000-4500 stall to place converter right in meat of boost threshold and limit low rpm cylinder pressure. You'll spool them quick but pushing torque curve up higher helps on pump gas. Higher rpms are less susceptible to detonation due to valve events happening so quickly. Peak torque is peak airflow and cylinder pressure. Moving that higher up is a good thing imo

The beauty of a 4500 stall that is designed for 1000whp is that it drives like a 3000 stall off boost

I think a thread with people posting photos of turbos for physical size comparison would be good.

I'd think your small cover 6767's would be similar to the S200's in these photos.

The larger 300's, same as the bigger 7xmm units. As you can see, they really arent that bad at all though
And the 67's and larger can be had in the large cover too, and would be more efficient with that

I'm going to run 6465s on my 6 speed car. They should spool quick and make somewhere north of 1000hp.
Call Jon at Huron speed and he will set you up.

Bring this back to life Jose finally got back to me and he recommended BW Billet ETR
S300 66's which i think have a 73MM turbine. They are priced right anyone using a pair of those and know what kind of power they will put out?
I was set on using BB turbos but been told that the BW journals would be just fine and spool very well on a 427 but i read everyone going Ball bearing!

Everyone in the 4cyl world might be ballbearing, and yes where budget permits BB is always a better option.

But it's a 427, it will never be short of power off boost, and assuming it's mostly straight line with an auto, transient response is hardly an issue regardless.

Cant imagine failure rate being any worse than oil journals.

Ball bearing turbos are more robust.

We have use quite a few on the Billet S366's from CRT (Midwest Turbo Center) and they rock. You cant go wrong with the S300's Were are getting ready to dyno there new S300-72mm billets on a street 427 soon.
