Default Throttle body questions

I picked up a factory cable TB. Origin unknown.
There is a port on the top pass side that I assume is part of the PVC system. It will be exposed to boost. Do you plug this? Or use it for crankcase evac with a PCV valve?

I also noticed that at WOT the blade is not fully open. Do you fix this?
I'm using the Pro Flow intake and it seems like the blade would skew the airflow.

Lastly, is the hole it the throttle blade factory? It appears to be.

I'm only familiar with the DBW TB.

Thanks

Ron

Ron, the tube that is in the hole I just put a vacuum cap on it and a zip tie to hold it. I also used a little silicone to make sure it stayed in.

As far as the blade being open. I am also using the Pro Flo and in the Holley in the help section it says to have the throttle blade between 1-5% when you start working with your idle. I tuned for idle at closed blade and worked my way up. Sure enough with the throttle blade at 5% it ran the best. There are a couple of things you need to do though. If you go live in the holley on the bottom left of the screen you will see TPS it will have a percent. If it is closed it will say 0 percent. Turn it with the screw until you see 1 percent, then you have to "reset TPS" then tune for it. Once you have it as good as you can get it, then try 2 percent, then 3 percent and so on. At least that is what I did. Driving my car and idling now you would never even have a clew it runs 5's. Very smooth and no part throttle surge. You have to reset the TPS each time and there is a place in holley in a drop down box that you just click. If you don't know where it is at I can get my other computer out and check for you.

I'll be running the factory ECU Del. I'm sure there is something similar in HPT language. The TB was free, but no sensors. I noticed the idle set screw was set to full closed.

I forgot you were using the factory pcm. When I ran HPtuners I tuned it with a closed throttle blade. I had to spend more time working with the IAC then anything else.

Any difference between the truck TB vs the LS1? I checked and the TPS is the same, but not the IAC? If the body itself is the same, I can just buy the Camaro electrics
Anyone know?
