Bos, Got a question for ya...... when you had your 8 rib setup how much boost would you see then it would nosedive?? What size pulleys. I have been hounding Heath to ask his buddy who made 10 psi with the SD concepts spring tensioner and the 3.7" pulley what RPM he made 10 psi at. He got back to me this evening (Thanks Heath) and he told me he made it at 5800 RPM's......... I dont know were your going to be shiftging with your smaller cam, but i know this is good news for me and Jeremy who are going to be shifting at 6500+ RPM's......... Loks like i will be going with the 3.7" blower pulley. Just thought id ask and let you guys know.

I made 14psi with a 3.3" blower pulley and a 7.85" crank

What boost are you shooting for?

Hi Wendy, I was talking about the adjustment tool, yeah thats it I can't wait till its here. Gotta love that customer service

Bos, I went with the 8 rib set up, no more of that 6 rib stuff.

Anyone want a cog set up I don't have the time or resources to figure out the correct belt tension for the cog belt. $250 and its yours comes with everything, new cog belt and all.

Its not really a boost goal im shooting for..... its a rwhp goal..... i want 600rw..... If Heaths friend can see 10 psi at 5800 with the same cubes as me and you then there so reason we cant do it and make a few more a little higher up in the rpm's. I dont know about you but my old setup started making really good boost up top and the last few hundred rpm's it picked up alot of boost and the same should happen with this setup. If we can do that and see no slip then i will be happy....... then comes the other problem..... how to put that power to the ground.....................
Heres a ????? to you and Jer... cant you sent the Cogs back and get a refund instead of losing the $$$ you paid for them..... if the product doesnt work isnt that fals advertisement??? Laterz im out for the night ill check this tomorrow.

I would like to think lee@ASP would refund us something but probably wouldn't, that's my take on it. I am sure the cogs work but I haven't got the time to figure out the right tension for the damn cog belt. From what I now understand it has to be almost perfect for the belt to live. I was told that if I put the boost gauge sender before the intercoolers with this cog set up that I would see 20+psi, the twin intercoolers being so small are that much of a restriction and thus making the blower work that much harder. But I don't know how true all that is other than the belt tension needing to be dead on. I am sure if you have a good EXPIRENCED speedshop with FI knowledge, they could set up the belt tension no problem but I don't have that luxury.

So that's why I put the call in for a sd-concepts set up, they have a tool for belt adjustment(which I bought-Thanks Wendy ), I have seen great reviews from the LT1 guys on cz28.com and from a couple people here. So I don't feel like I am trailblazing with this set up which is good.....and if it doesn't make 15 psi, **** it I'll spray it, whatever boost I see and a 100shot, that ought to do it I am just tired of dicking with s/c belt problems.

Hope the SD tensioner works out for you guys, its because of all the belt BS that I leave my boost right where its at.

I'll use the nitrous to make up the difference

Sorry man, JRIOS bought it off me last week
Maybe you can get SDCE to make you a larger crank pulley? I know the ones they have are 7.2 and they have 6 ribs and 8 ribs if I remember right, just a thought.
