5.3 Turbo setup Opinions Got my hands on a very cheap roller. Debating on cleaning it up and just reselling it in spring or making a JY beater out of it for me and my friends to play with.....
If I build it I was thinking going as budget as possible, prob around 750HP max.
Newer Stock 5.3 (05 and up have better rods I think) with ebay studs and spring upgrade and stock intake.
Truck manifold type hotside kit
Ebay 76mm, maybe On3 or one of those GT45's
Glide or a TH350, whatever i can find for cheap
Stock V8 rear and gear it according to the trans setup
External Holley Pump and some push lock lines
VS racing style front mount IC
I'm thinking HP tuners with a stock harness we will gut and see how it works out..
Pump Gas and maybe a Meth Kit
Whats your opinion on doing rod bolts?
Ls6 cam good cheap option for this?
