Cold air induction

Cold air induction I'm trying to isolate colder air from outside the veihicle. Presently I have an open K&N filter just off the tube to TB. As you can imagine I'm battling the MP112 IATs blues .... It's worse when I'm pulling hot engine cabin air into the filter. My hopes are to isolate the outside air that is being pulled through the ram air openings & fender. I'm lazy and don't feel like making my own modification so I found this on one of our sponsors sites.

Anybody have any luck ? I'm not looking for miracles, just want to avoid the hot air from the engine bay. I realize heat saturation with my setup is enevitable. I'm not having any issues at WOT ( spraying moonshine as well), just want the cooler air from outside to be isolated. My real question is .... With a spercharger pulling as it does will I cause a restriction or is there plenty of airflow available ??

Thats an interesting option... but no. My Heat exchanger is in the way. In addition, I belive I'm too low.
Anybody have experience with the Volant system ?
Im thinking of making a mockup for testing . If I can see an appreciable reduction in IAT's while cruising it may be worth it.
