Default D1 Procharged stock motor results

1999 Ss Camaro

Stock motor with custom grind cam and valvetrain
D1 Procharger with 4.25 blower pulley and aster bracket
Front mount intercooler
Alkycontrol meth kit
1 7/8 longtubes and true duals
Ls6 intake

Made 664/551 on stock J bracket and 12# of boost at 6600 rpm last Friday

Put the aster setup on last night and logged a 4th gear pull on the street. It saw 190.8 kpa which is roughly 13.15# of boost at 6350 rpm. I'm going back to the dyno Saturday. Ill keep y'all posted on what it makes. Should be about 13.5# at 6600 rpm so a gain of 1.5# over the stock bracket.

Congrats! Let the fun begin! And ruining of rear ends and clutches.

I think you should be able to get a bit more out of it with your intake and meth. I have the exact same setup. D1sc, front mount, custom grind, 1 7/8 TSP headers, with NO intake or meth and hit very similar numbers. 644rwhp and 532rwtq @ 12psi. Squeeze some more... you know you want to

I dont beat on my car but I sure dont baby it. I've got a stock bottom end etc.. been running for over a year now without any issues. I'm not crazy thinking power doesnt break **** but so far.. so good.

Numbers are right on par for what they should be. Most people usually don't push stock motors that hard. It has lived for about a year at 640/540 without meth and 12# And 16 degrees timing at the very top. I attest the motor living to a very spot on tune that is on the rich side as well as my kup coolant distribution lines that tie the rear steam ports on the heads back into the cooling system.

The rear end is a 9" with wavetrac diff, pst aluminum driveshaft and tick built Trans with a spec 3+ that's held up to tons of 6000 rpm clutch dumps on radials. I feel pretty confident in it. Not saying something won't break but so far so good. I'm pretty sure it will make in the 675-680 range with the 1.5# of added boost. Ill see Saturday. I know I could make a good bit more power by just bumping the timing up a few degrees but not worth it to me. I'm in the process of building a motor anyways.

Rpm in garner, nc. Ill have to find the specs. its relatively small. Tick performance is going to spec the cam for the new motor.

FYI, the numbers are STD correction, so that adds a little. For reference, STD correction I made 765hp/706tq, SAE I made 745/688 at 17psi.

pretty cool, your making power-I have never seen the #'s a lot of you guys post, maybe I don't know how to tune or pick the wrong parts-they always say the dyno reads low where I go
I have not put my latest's project on a dyno (6.0, LS3 heads, intake, D1SC with cog drive) its my first time with FI so tuning is a struggle, lol
but with the addition of the LS3 heads it makes crazy power on the street
before I cut back the power I saw 189 PKA on the data log

Headed back to the dyno in the morning. I'm guessing 685ish with the added boost.
