I changed the waste gate plumbing to look like the second picture I posted and put the 12lb spring in it. Waiting on fuel pumps, but as soon as those come in I will test the new setup and report back.
The method that has a subtle note "base pressure may be a little higher" adds a couple psi on top of the spring pressures you would see. It let's you ramp boost up past 2x spring pressure though.
Leave GP at zero and increase SP until you get the boost you want. Then raise GP until you get a table top curve with no spike at the beginning.
