help with new turbo build
help with new turbo build start with the car. its a 2000 camaro 25.5 cage, 3.90 gears, glide transmission. mini tubbed, weight around 3200 lbs. running a 370 ci. ls motor, cnced 243 heads, all forged bottom end, compression is 11.0-1 . would like to run 5.20 in the 1/8 on this setup. i get different people saying t4 will do and some say t6,open or divided. will a 2.25 or 2.5 hot side do. car will be run at some of the local 275 races here in alabama. what size turbo do i need. what camshaft do i need. how many wastegates? i will be running truck manifolds. will also be running the holley efi dominator setup. there is some questions i havent asked, but this is just going from the top of my head. you ask i will tell. thanks roger

Some of those questions you asked have no answer. At least not without knowing power goals, and class rules.
Technically either a T4 or T6 will do it, divided or not. Either 2.25 or 2.5 will do, 2.25 will spool faster.
With an open housing you could do with a single large waste gate. For a true divided setup youll need 2.
Get a custom camshaft spec'd for you. There isn't a magic 'USE THIS' answer to all of these questions, or else nobody would ever have to ask.

this is why i am asking questions on some help with this build.hp would have to be around 800-1000. x275 is the class rules.
