how fast or how much power out of a bw475
how fast or how much power out of a bw475 a little more info I know you guys will need to help me answer for my combo; 67 nova, 3200lbs, 3.25 gears, 4 linked, 275 mt's, 3600 ptc 9.5 tc, t braked 400, studded and gapped 4.8, 243 heads, tooley springs, tick 111.5+4.5/.634,.620, 215 and 225@.050, csu 750 on e85, single meth inj @ 10psi, bw475/87/ 1.10 t4 gated to 20 psi..
how much power has been made with 475's and how fast? Im thinking STOCK48 has the records but he's also a 6.0.. if nothing else its something to talk about..

Cubic inch is irrelevant as far as the larger the cube the more power. That compressor can make 800-850rwhp and run well into the 8's at your weight as l9ng as the turbine is matched with the cubes. Cam looks nice I like the tight lsa
by the math mine made 488 hp to go 131 the only time I ran it with the old combo, stock cam, race gas, china 70mm turbo at 21psi, at the time 2500 stall was to low so had a bad 2.02@60, 7.88@ 101.79 and only 11.68@130.5.
I guess we will see what the changes make..

at 650rwhp should run 9.29 @ 144
at 700rwhp should run 9.09 @ 148

Stock48 went 8s on a stock 6.0 with a cam and the S475. Pretty sure he was 100 lbs or so heavier than you, and was launching on the footbrake.
The S475 is rated to ~1000 HP.
Smaller displacement engines are usually able to squeeze out more HP by keeping the turbo inside of its compressor efficiency, so don't worry about having the smaller engine.

I love the little motor.. Im actually going to pick up a l33 block and use the 4.8 crank with some scat or eagle rods to build up the short block a bit "stronger" and a bit lighter..
This all started in my head from the 5.3 list only having a couple guys running 475's. I wanted to see what everyone else was making or running with 475's so I could gain some more insight..
