05 S2000 (turbo LS1 swap)
The car was a lot of fun, but I wanted to build something different. One of my friends from the S2000 board recommended going with an LS1. I've been scouring the forums, learning as much as I can about different setups/recommendations/etc (my favorite part of a new build!) Initially, I'm going to simply swap in a stock LS1/T56 to ensure I'm able to mitigate any potential wiring gremlins/etc.
Subsequently, I plan on tossing truck manifolds on there with a decent sized turbo. My goal is 600+whp. Ideally, this build thread with be interactive. I'd love to hear feedback/recommendations/critiques from the experts on this board (and from my short time here, there seem to be quite a few).
As previously mentioned, I tune AEM (v1/v2). I saw a few threads that mentioned an AEM EMS PnP option for LS1s, but haven't been able to find any companies that actually sell the units (discontinued product?). If I'm unable to find an AEM box, I'll likely go with either HPTuners or EFI Live (input would be great!)
Progress will be glacially slow initially. My wife and I are selling our current house while we search for a new one; time to work on the car is almost non-existent. I'm going with the Import Muscle swap kit, although, I'm not sure the truck manifolds will fit with the unconventional mounts.

I'm leaning towards HP Tuners. I'm slowly acclimating myself to the software. Obviously, tuning concepts are similar (regardless of the EMS), so the learning curve isn't too steep in my case. My wife is going shopping with friends this weekend and I'm dropping Rafa (my son) off at his grandparents house, so I'll have a little time to weld a few holes (from drilling the spot welds on the old crossmember) as well as cut the frame in a few places. I'll update with pics.
