Thats what I was thinking. I live in north Texas and some summers it can be over 100 degrees for months. A/C is a survival tool. Plus I cant see adding so much heat to an already hot engine bay.

did you guys even look up the APS stuff... it is TO date teh best kits made for the fbody and gto. and pretty good compared to the DKT kit for c5/c6

cons:
longer spool time
more heat and stress on the transmission.
longer intercooler pipes
chance of a scavenging pump to fail
something hard come off the road and hit that hot exhaust housing and watch it explode ( seen that in person)
pro:
being the person watching what ever came up from the road and destroying and stupid rear mount turbo system.

Dont have to trim or loose ac with a rear mount. Get a good external pump for return line and your all set. I was debating which one to go with and I choose front mount. If I did it all over again I would have went with rear.

^^^^ you don't have to trim/loose a/c just learn to fabricate. my buddys mustang has twin turbos, a/c, power steering and factory abs pump mounted down by the rad support. just because most people take the easy way out and hack there cars doesn't me that a rear mount is better or easier. also look at real race cars and see where they mount them. few people had rear mounts but switched to front mount systems cause less piping will equal more power and faster spool time.

Dyno graphs are subjective. Mine showed power loss at 4500 rpm but in the real world, on the street it pulls all the way to the rev limiter.
