Ever since we did that, the thing was a bitch to tune and it really showed its face when i went SD. When i remembered that and mentioned it to my current tuner, he reflashed everything back to the way it came from the factory and started clean. No problems since.
Well since my car is a 98 and I'm using a 01 pcm I would have to flash back to a stock 01 tune correct? Then just start over?

How many "write entire" can you do before the PCM is trash

Have you ran the car SINCE doing the re-pin? Like before you did all the turbo stuff?
No haven't run the car since the repin, this is the first attempt

Yeah, just bring the PCM back to its factory settings and go from there (unless someone has better ideas).

I didnt know there was a limit on how many times you could "write entire" the PCM but i am a complete noob in the tuning world.

Yeah they say to only write entire once, but you can do calibrations a million times..

I'll look into it

I've done quite a few complete writes on my PCM, but I use efilive, not sure why it would be any different, but I don't see why doing another "write entire" is going to hurt anything... just make sure your car battery has a good charge.

If I were you, I'd get a stock tune back on it. I'd get a stock MAP sensor back in it and then try to fire it up without touching anything other than maybe the injectors... do you have proper data for the injectors? I think Denmah said he has the info in some of his tunes, you could certainly download one of those from his site.

Keep us posted.

I'll double check on the injector data, my break in tune was done by lsxpowertuning so I'm pretty dang sure he has the right data In it.

Which map did you buy? The GM brick style or the direct fit one I just saw on their website?
I guess I'm wondering where they sourced that one.....esp for the price.

I did a boost leak test again and have a leak around the injectors, but don't think that's my problem.

However ill fix it before I attempt another start!

No he just adjusted the break in tune (fuel, ve,) and a couple other things and it started right up.

It's idling rich so he just emailed another tune so hopefully everything goes smoothly..

Would be very interesting to compare the original tune versus the one that worked. Congrats on getting it going!

For the efisource brick style 3 bar, how should I have wired it in?

I put the red wire to power, black wire to ground, and yellow wire to signal, all from the original intake map pigtail.

When in my scanner, I'm reading almost a constant 90 kpa and it hardly moves at all. It's idling rich and I'm unsure where the scaling and offsets for my map are in hptuners that I keep reading about...
Could my wiring be wrong?

I've only been playing with this software for about 3 weeks now.

According to these two diagrams and pictures, I have my power and signal wires switched in my pigtail... can someone verify that this is wrong or correct?

Will this MAP sensor be calibrated correctly if I just choose GM 3-Bar/MPHX6300 in the TS Common MAP Sensors list?

TIA,
