Another recommend me a turbo thread! Hello all, picked up an LS1 fox body with ARP rod bolts and head bolts, PRC 225 as cast heads. Already have a Holley 102 MM hi ram intake, 102 MM throttle body and Holley 120# Lb injectors. Will be using Holley EFI Hp management and most likely truck manifolds.
Future plan is to build up a stock iron block 5.3, maybe turn it into a 5.7 and aim for 1000+ hp at the crank on E85.
What turbo do you guys recommend. My buddy has an S480 on his 5.3 Fox body and the thing is ridiculously huge, however the $800 price tag on it makes it very appealing.
What do you all recommend?
