Default Need help ASAP

Dropped off my manifolds and cross over today to get ceramic coated. The guy told me he will coat the inside/outside and flange faces on the manifolds. I told him to hold off and I would get some opinions first. I'm worried about coating the inside and having it flake off. And coating the flange faces I'm worried about the manifolds not sealing. Am I just paranoid or will it be ok?

Imho,I wouldn't coat any mating surfaces for reasons stated. I too would be worried about flaking hitting a turbine at speed. Just do outsides. Again, jmo.
Anyone else?

I was under the impression not to wrap mild steel, it will warp with that much heat not being able to dissipate!

Do the outsides and the flange sealing areas but not the insides.

If you want to save money VHT it. Ceramic only holds up a tad better anyway.
