P1SC questions
I have the possibility of buying a P1SC head unit, so as going FI is an itch that needs scratching I have some questions that I hope you can help me with.
This will be to go on my LS1 that sits in my AC Cobra Replica.
Engine is fairly stock LS1 from a 2000 Camero, Katech rod bolts, TR224/230 112 LSA Cam, block hugger headers, 2.5" dual exhausts, Zero emissions requirements. EFI Live in my possession.
Goals - north of 500 flywheel HP, south of detonated engine

I'll have to fab my own J bracket given my packaging limitations.
Questions:
What size bottom and top pulleys (6 rib) do I need? (Assuming Bob is still the man?) to hit my goals safely? (I would rather leave a few HP on the table than blow things up).
What size injectors (everything I've read says 60lb Siemans, if that is still the right move then where best to get them from please).
Is a BOV required? If so is there a "right" one to get.
I've got lots of space for an intercooler, is it just a case of "bigger = better" in which case I'll just over spec, or is there a magic formula to work out the size?
I'm in England so any links to places that ship would be appreciated.
Many thanks all
Jim
It's not technically a BOV. It's a bypass valve however you can use a BOV as long as it has a 1-2psi spring in it.
You can go too big in the intercooler. The bigger it is the more space that has to be filled. The most important thing is to get a vertical core. Like the one that treadstone sells. If your goal is 500bhp then Vertical core IC is a good choice. A little overhead but not too much.
I cannot speak to pulley size. (yet)
As far as a custom bracket goes you may want to look into a corvette style bracket. I have a forum buddy that custom made a corvette style bracket that sits lower then the A&A and procharger ones for my hood clearance. He runs an F1A and I'll be running a D1SC. I've seen in the engine bay of a couple cobra replicas personally and there really isn't much room to spare but up front isn't too bad. Good luck!

I hadn't looked at Corvette or A&A brackets so I'll do those as well
Thanks
Jim
