Wanting 9's with a LQ4 Camaro
My cage is good to 8.50 or slower and sometimes getting in and out of the car with someone parked next to me makes me wish I had removable side bars. If I can swing the door open all the way then I have no problem getting in and out.
LQ4's are iron and get heat soaked if you're water pump doesn't flow. I had to go with a high flow aftermarket water pump. This along with a good quality radiator solved all those issues even in high heat.
I'm super happy with my TH400. Manual valve body with trans brake works well for launching along with the launch rpm limiter when the T-brake is set on. I could definitely bracket race the thing without issue by using that. Temperature differences can change my times but that's no different than any car at the track.
As far as routing of all the tubes I'd suggest you check out pictures of how others did it.
