there are so many diffrent heads out there to use so i am wondering what head would work best to get close to about 10.1 comp in my dished piston 03 5.3.i will be running a borg s480 with a 92 1.10.running pump 91 gas with straight methanol injection.i would like to push it kinda hard at about 20 lbs and go from there.i plan to use the ls9 head gaskets,head studs and just a clean up on the heads to make sure they are clean.any real world input would be great.i may do a little port work on them.is there any info on who or what needs to be done to make alittle more power.thanks in advance.

 

799 heads. Cheap, abundant, small combustion chambers, and along with the 243 heads are the highest flowing cathedral port heads. If you aren't looking for a low compression ratio, they are your best bet.
