I drove Jeremy's twin turbo ta off and on for nearly 2 months. That's his hood sitting on my car and it was fine lol. I expect to have some sacrifices lol.

Race car/street car - all are whatever you wanna call them. Building mine to be able to survive all traffic situations with ease as well as perform awesome at the strip. There will be limitations in each area though I realize.

Awesome man. Im deep into my twin turbo LS 408 build right now. Im running the brand new S369's!!! They are bad lil son of a guns! And ill admit ive gotten a few ideas from looking over your threads. Great work man. I really admire the few who take pride in doing these things themselves. That being said.... What core are you using for your IC?

And also have you thought about laying the radiator down horizontally between the IC and the engine, at a slight angle? Im considering running mine like that. And you could easily push cool freah air to it that way with many different sort of chin spoiler or something you make. Either way will free up alot of room.

Its a Bell core. 26.8x8x6. Im going to be running twin radiators. One under each headlight assembly. They still will have good airflow thru the holes in the bumper and may use the stock fbody fans. One on each bc they do so well. Ive got a pretty good plan to keep the center behind the intercooler clear.

Just make sure to do some sort of catch setup in case it pushes water. You wouldn't want to get water on the tires obviously while going down the track.

The radiators will be sealed and I have an expansion tank behind the passenger shock tower. Steam ports ran there and it has a pressure cap like a normal radiator on it. Also a overflow will be attached to the tank as well.

I had to let the car move on guys. I'm getting my Rock Solid Motorsports business going and going up with a new facility and just don't have time or the money currently to mess with it or have it on my mind anymore. Needed to pay off some debt as well. I sold it to good friend Jonathan Atkins who owns Tick Performance and he will finish it out as a shop project and then probably eventually sell it. I'll try to keep the thread updated as they do things to it. I look forward to seeing it done and am glad I was able to pass it to a friend.

Sorry to see you had to sell it, but at least it will get completed and not just parted out like so many other builds on here.

Good luck with the new business Stephan!

Default New Owner checking in.

I know it's been a long while since this post has been updated, but I'm the new owner of it and considering the amount of followers it's gathered, I will keep the post goin! Just to give you guys a little background info, Stephen sold the car to Jonathan, Jon posted it for sale... And I couldn't pass it up. I got the car as a rolling chassis, with the turbo setup and intercooler. I'm currently deployed overseas and I'm stockpiling parts so I can put it all together when I get back. Throwing a SBE '06 LQ4 in it until my forged motor is done being built, built th400, MP 750, MS3 Pro (with all the goodies hooked up), and as much as I may get roasted for, tan interior swap. For all you Midwest guys, it should be making its debut t Ice Cream Cruise in Iowa, Aug 6-7. Got a ton of parts sitting around for it and looking forward to finishing it up. I'll keep the post updated as much as I can!
