Turbo Sizing Confusion
Turbo Sizing Confusion i did a search and i have read several posts and visited many sites about reading compressor maps and how to choose the right turbo. it just seems liek everytime i try another way of picking the correct size for my motor i get a different answer.
the motor: what i have planned a stock displacement LS1. i am going with 8.5:1 compression and i am lookin at patriot stage 2 heads(or something similar). i have also been in contact with a few places about a good cam selection for shifting around 6500rpm and have a good idea of what to look for there. i woudl liek to run around 12psi(i would only go beyond that if i dump in race gass) and the motor is being built to pull to a redline of 7000rpm.
i will be running a front mount as well.
can anyone give me an idea of what or where to start lookin for the correct turbo?
