Should i wrap my headers?
Should i wrap my headers? got a LS Swapped 1997 chevy truck with a procharger, i'm about to put on the House of boost bracket that swaps the head unit to the passenger side, i've always thought there was a good bit of heat come off the exhaust that the procharger sucks up adding to IAT's i can sort of stick the air cleaner near the stock air intake and suck air from the fender but its still not really isolated from the exhaust heat. would it be worth the effort to wrap the passenger side header to help keep that area cooler and possibly lower the IAT's some or just a waste of time?

well i did it and used a big kit from summit. worked out great and it keeps the engine bay so much cooler now, i wish i had a before and after temperature, but its noticeably cooler when i do a test drive or pop the hood for anything, id recommend it to anyone if you have the exhaust off or before you put it on
