You won't be able to slide it back due to the pick up tube.

Yes use can if you unbolt the motor mounts and jack the motor up. I just pulled mine yesterday with the trans in the car. That is with a bmr k member

Dumb question, but why do you want to remove it? Is it an -AN fitting? you could always just put an -AN cap on it, or turbo it

Sorry I thought I put it on there but I had to get a new pan my has a small crack in the right front corner and couldn't get it to seal up so I figured I would just get another pan and in the process tap pan for future turbo. I have a bmr turbo k member to put in but maybe I swap it in onces the trans is in so the engine won't move .

I couldn't get mine out with the k member in but I also had my trans in too. I had to hold the motor up, take out the 4 rear k member bolts and take the front two out a few turns enough so it would pivot. Not much fun on the ground at 2 am lol, so glad I have a lift at home now.
