intercooler piping sizes?
intercooler piping sizes? Hey got a question for you guys?
I got a new intercooler for my turbotech kit, and it has 3" inlet and outlets on it. I am going to redo all the piping and was wondering to me 3" seemed a little big, so here's the question
should I use 3" or 2.5"????

No reduction in power per say, but you will be adding additional heat to the system. Typically you want to exit the same size as the discharge if possible, if not, larger.

well the outlet on my turbo is like 2" so i figured that 3" wouldnt be too big, but i didnt know if a t-70 would flow enough air to use the 3" i thought that maybe at that size pipe that it would loose some compression due to the space that it would have to fill up.
im not sure what I thought, but I asked, youall answered, and I ordered the 3" bends today to complete what I was going to do
