I Need A Turbo And Need Opinions

Ok so i have a friend around were i live who says they can get me a garret turbo installed for $4500, well i was wondering if anyone has a turbo that is cheaper or if anyone has one for sale i could buy and have my friend install it. I want a turbo and im kinda new in the forced induction section and i just need to know some of yalls opinions.

First how much hp are you shooting for, what cube motor and what rpm range? From there you can begin to narrow the list of turbos.

Sts Turbo

STS Turbo has a basic package for under 4000.00. Ive got one and trapped 117mph for starters

you need alot more than just a turbo, has the guy actually been under the hood of an ls1 before?

turbo's are the cheap part, about a grand for a good one.

The main part is the piping, ect.
