need new fuel system plans? help? so i had a 5.3L (sig specs) on 16psi with 60# siemens injectors and 1 340lph aeromotive fuel pump, i was running for 4-6 months at 12 psi no issues and then bumped to 16psi no issues for 4-6 months, i changed exhaust to fender dump and ended up blowing it up, well i was going back looking at my data logs and it looks like i was leaning out after a few hard pulls anyway before the exhaust change, had it commanded 11.8 A/F at 10* and it would hold but if i ran though the gears it start getting to 12.7 ish A/F
is running 16psi through a 5.3L to much for that fuel set up (thinking 800rwhp possibly but dont want to over sell my set up as its never been dynoed, and never will
) and is there a way to tell if im running out of fuel pump or running out of injector when looking at my log?
i had a couple logs i looked at and one i didnt have the leaning out issue but a later log is when i started showing up, never got a log with the fender dumped exhaust as the engine didnt even survive the first 15 min test drive after doing it
but basically, should i look at getting another fuel pump? or am i out of injectors at this much boost?
any other pointers to look at id appreciate, thanks!
