Belt slip, help...
Think that i´m having belt slipping issues after few hard pulls. Could this be cause of too tight belt?
I´m kind of loss with term of tensioner types, is "active" spring loaded tensioner and "static", old school one that stays where it is? I´m from Finland and especially tecnical english is bit loss...
If it is so, im just having "static" tensioner.
Last year i had 6-rib drive, had some difficulties with belt slip, and belts popping 1-rib off. Some belts failed really fast.
But finally realized that Gates Micro-V, slightly overtighted and with just static tensioner (active one removed) worked pretty well.
This year, upgraded 8-rib drive. Now, after good abuse, boost is starting to drop on full pulls. Belt tightness is about same than with 6-rib.
Can´t think any other solution that when belt get`s hot, it starts to slip, but how the hell 8-rib slips but 6-rib holds....
Now thinking that i try to put that active tensioner back to it´s place, but can anyone think of any other cause / solution.
Need to get this fixed in two days. Car is competition 2gen drifting Camaro and our National Championship series starts next weekend.
I have quite or exatly similar charger brackets that this one, and same kind of tensioner.

Just wont understand how it didn´t worked out with 6-rib belt, or maybe that belt just stretched too much for tensioners movements, belt come off often when pulled to limiter and after instant gas lift.
on the Prochargers sometimes I use an add. fixed idler to get more belt wrap around the drive pulley, and a brace to eliminate any bracket flex
So this kit has static tensioner also in charger brackets, seems on that pic, you setup active tensioner to 12.30 o clock with that.
Belt goes well over 200 degrees over both pulleys.
Car is this one, so usage is quite harsh...
