1982 s10 5.3 turbo hey guys i am needing help i am building a 5.3 turbo s10 with a built 400 th trans with brake. i am going to use a 80mm turbo ls1 intake all stock internals. i am wanting to make 700 hp and a 9 sec et. i need help on what cam, injectors, efi controller etc. without breaking the bank

700 to the wheels, or flywheel? An 80mm turbo, depending on which manufacturer, can be rated for a LOT more than 700 HP, and then you're going to kill your mid-range power by trying to push a large turbo to only 60% of its goal.
80 lb Siemens Deka injectors are hard to beat for the $320-340 they can be found for on ebay. For an EFI controller, you can use HP Tuners to tune your stock computer, or Megasquirt/Microsquirt since you have a TH400 (Microsquirt is the better option, but a lot more involved).
700 HP could be done on the stock cam pretty easy. If you want a bigger cam, get something fairly small for 700 HP. No point in getting a huge N/A cam to do something the stock cam can do and making your car idle and drive worse in the process. Stock48 sells a cam called the Isky triple 12. Its pretty hard to beat for a turbo street cam. VERY mild idle and excellent power increase. Makes an awesome sleeper cam.
