I'm not really worried about the wrap on the crank pulley.....

The blower pulley wrap is whats important, thats why I destroyed my old 8 rib stuff

Yes but they dont have that much more wrap on the blower pulley.

Now the idler pulley has a lot more wrap

I'm not saying it wont work - like I said before I still think a properly aligned 8 rib should do the job.

I just tend to be a little pessemistic about things, that way I'm not disappointed when things dont work and more then happy when they do

At worst at least you will be able to drive it, I could imagine how the rattling cogs could get one pretty depressed. I think the spring tensioner will work but if it doesnt you can just put a stock bracket/idler back on and be back to an 8 rib setup..

I dont know how you guys can do it, I'm going nuts waiting for a friggin roll bar from wolfe for two weeks. Car is ready to go to the track but I have the whole interior apart for the roll bar and dont want to put it back together and take it back apart again.

I'm not doing the roll bar because I want to, its because I have to. All the tracks around here pretty much told me not to come back w/o a roll bar. A local guy was going to do it but he kept pushing the date back so I spent the 800.00 (ouch) for a moly wolfe 5 point bolt in and I'll have the down bars welded. The more the car sits the more parts I keep taking out of it, if it takes another week the heater box and air bags are next on my list

If I don't see belt slip, next on the list is FMIC, then a 10pt cage

I would like to try a FMIC, I think it would be a lot simpler/lighter in the long run. I can see whay ATI didnt use one with the bumper support being there and all. My main thing is working on a short block right now, I dont really trust these pistons with the nitrous.

The car feels awesome with a 75 shot on it, I cant wait to make a few passes. I have almost enough parts for a nice forged shortblock - just collecting parts here and there.

I cant wait to see your results Kyle, I really hope it works out for you guys..

If it were me Kyle I'd do the rear before the roll bar. Nothing less fun then having a lot of power and stock rear..

Yea, I highly suggest getting the rear as well unless you want to drive around on street tires forever, even slight wheel hop on nittos will probably put that 10bolt in its grave w/the amount of power you will be making

I hear you guys..... Im am thinking a 9" now because i see alot of guys with over 600hp braking 12 bolts.... but not 12 bolts w/ spools and i dont really want to run a spool on the street. Its only 2 or 300 more then a 12 bolt, but what rear gear. I was thinking 3.50's.
