a2w Lines Very Close to Exhaust
a2w Lines Very Close to Exhaust Anybody running a2w lines under the car, next to the exhaust? I have mine routed but at one point, the 2 braided water lines have to cross over an exhaust pipe with only a few inches of clearance above it. Only way around this seems to be to run the lines through the cabin and I rather not do that. Not sure how well these braided lines will handle that heat. I can use some advice from personal experience, thanks.

a few inches? like 2"?
Your fine, just make a heat shield and wrap the hoses. Corvettes and camaros plastic fuel tanks are only about 3/4" away, and use just a heatshield. The plastic fuel lines on a C5 are only 2-3" away from the exhaust with no shielding or protectection of any kind.
