Default Oil line length question

Sorry guys I tried searching but everything I found was for size of line not the over all length.

How important is the length of oil feed line to the turbo? I assumed shorter is better? But then I guess it's not "that" important because rear mounts use a really long feed line?

I can either use a 5' feed and run it around the engine bay and down to the oil filter housing?
Or
Use a 4' feed line and go under the intake, behind the power steering pump and straight shot to the filter housing?

Does it matter at all?
Might seem like a simple question but I would like input before buying the lines!

And on a drain over all legnth is 19" with say 8" of vertical drop then 4" of 45* drop then slops off pretty level (under the ac compressor) to the drain (pass. side of pan). It will have to enter the pan with a 90* fitting also.

Default

Both will be fine.

use -4 for the feed, and 5/8" for the return
